Description
:
Country’s Hall of Fame and Museum will host a major exhibition titled Outlaws & Armadillos: Country’s Roaring ’70, beginning May 25, 2018, spanning nearly three years. The exhibition, which delves into the era of cultural and artistic exchange between Nashville, Tennessee and Austin, Texas, will also include concerts, panel discussions, and documentary film screenings. The two CD set is planned in conjunction with this event. The title Outlaw is a departure from commercial, conservative country, and Armadillo will be the name of an Austin live house that took the world by storm. The album features 36 important songs from across the labels, ranging from big names in outlaw country to Austin-based artists. The enclosed 32-page booklet contains detailed song s by the exhibition’s creator. Commentary included.
