Exposed to soul, funk, and jazz at an early age by his family, he was baptized into Chicago house and played for a long time with Chicago’s heavyweight DJs such as Theo Parrish and Sadar Bahar. In the 1990s, he worked as a hip-hop and R&B track maker for many of the biggest names in the industry, including Common, Kanye West, John Legend, and Gorillaz, and has been nominated for three Grammy Awards.His solo album is the culmination of his career and is a spectacular soundscape!
