This is the first phase of the renowned Dutch Timeless Original Albums Straight Reissue Series. This is a frenzied live recording of blind piano giant Tete Montreux performing with his trio of Herbie Lewis (b) and Billy Higgins (ds) in a grooving live setting. Recorded in 1979, this is the first Japanese CD release of Tete’s masterpiece, which features the famous performance at the peak of his career at the prestigious Keystone Corner club in San Francisco.
