This is the first album in two years by Sheene Ai, a Danish female jazz singer representing Scandinavian jazz vocals. Sheene’s voice has a gentle touch and she sings original songs and jazz standards with the melancholic world of Scandinavia. Supporting musicians are veteran pianist Jakob Christoffersen, who has participated in many sessions with Scandinavian musicians, and American musicians such as Larry Koons (g), Scott Corey (b), and Joey Barron (ds). Includes commentary and bilingual lyrics.
