Pro-Ject’s first true-balanced moving magnet cartridge opens up the world of balanced audio connections to a whole new price category.
The new Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge is a revised version of the Pick it PRO which allows you a ‘True Balanced’ signal transmission. Standard MM cartridges cannot be used with a symmetrical connection, as it would result in a difference between the left and right channel. The Pick it PRO Balanced doesn’t share the shielding pin with the ground, resulting in a cleaner and truly balanced signal transmission. It is the first moving magnet cartridge that can be used in a fully balanced phono setup!
The big advantage of a balanced connection is its ability to remove picked up noise and interferences. Pro-Ject’s ‘True Balanced’ cable range offers you the perfect cable companion to extend this balanced signal from your turntable to a balanced-compatible phono stage and amplifier.
