Here comes a collection of nocturnes by Chopin specialist Fritter, who won second prize at the Chopin Competition in 2000. The collection includes 20 of the 21 nocturnes, excluding No. 21 (posthumously) in C minor, which is often considered a sketch. 24 Preludes, released in 2014, also included Nocturnes Nos. 3 and 8, both of which have been eagerly awaited in their entirety, and were newly recorded for this release. The new release includes these two pieces, which have been eagerly awaited. The high level of technical skill, deep insight into the works, and sensitive music-making that are her strong points are on full display, bringing out the poetic aspects of the works in more than sufficient quantities.
