The ultimate Super Audio CD series, which employs the single-layer (2ch) method that brings out the true characteristics of DSD. This disc is exclusively for SA-CD compatible players. It is a disc for SA-CD compatible players only, and cannot be played on ordinary CD players. This is a collection of German marches recorded with the wind section of the Berlin Philharmonic. The simple tones are respected over flashy effects and splendor, and the atmosphere conveys that all the performers, including Karajan, are enjoying the performance itself. The reissue of all 30 pieces has been a long time coming as a domestic release. Produced in 2017 at Emil Berliner Studios in Germany from the original Deutsche Grammophon analog masters, using the latest DSD masters. Japan original project. Paper jacket.
