This is the first leader album by Carter Jefferson, who was a tenor player in the Woody Shaw Group. Produced by Woody Shaw, and featuring Shaw’s close friend Terumasa Hino on trumpet. Also featured on this album is Shunzo Ohno (tp), who played in the Gil Evans Orchestra.
