Arch Enemy is a melodic aggressive heavy metal band newly formed by guitarist Michael Amott, who left the legendary grindcore/death metal band Kirkus, who were called the brutal kings of Liverpool. The band has established a unique musical style that combines a voice-crushing death voice with melodic guitars. It has been about 2 years since their selfcover album and 4 years since their first original album, and they have completed their 8th album.
