This is the fourth studio album in four years by the six-piece symphonic metal band “Ancient Bars” from Italy. Heavily influenced by their hometown band “Rhapsody (Of Fire),” the band has similarly taken a single concept (story) and spread it over several albums. This album is a sequel to the “Black Crystal Sword Saga” that began with the band’s debut EP. This sequel to the “Black Crystal Sword Saga” series follows in the footsteps of the previous album, but the evidence of the band’s growth and solidification through many tours and recordings comes to the fore in the lyrics, composition, and sound production, creating a more epic worldview and inviting the listener into a fantastical otherworld. The result is a work that invites the listener into a fantastical otherworldly world. They are truly Ancient Bards revived in the modern age.
