For the album cover of “Titanic Rising” the Californian went diving – by the way without CGI
Responsible for the shooting was the underwater photographer Brett Stanley, who sunk a complete bedroom for the cover of “Titanic Rising”
The album was written and recorded in the first six months of last year – and is the result of years of touring and continuous musical development by Mering, which can be clearly heard on “Titanic Rising”: transcendent vocals and floating arrangements, profound lyrics and reflections on the modern state of our souls
“Titanic Rising” effortlessly overcomes the border between classical songwriting and post-apocalyptic futurism.
