‘The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery’, cemented his reputation and led to him becoming generally acknowledged as one of the most important jazz guitarists of all time, alongside Django Reinhardt and Charlie Christian. Wes would eventually be cited as an influence by guitarists as diverse as Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix.
