This is the long-awaited second album from “The Trio Project” formed by Anthony Jackson and Simon Phillips, the world’s greatest players, in 2010’s “Voice”! While the concept of the previous album was “the voices of people’s hearts and the ups and downs of their emotions,” this album expresses “the flow of emotions that move with the flow of time” through sound. All nine songs are Hiromi Uehara’s original compositions, starting with the title track “Move,” which opens with a piano like the alarm clock that signals the beginning of the day, followed by the furious groove of “11:49PM,” which follows the flow of time throughout the day, as if weaving a soundtrack. The colorful and dynamic soundscape evokes the scenes one encounters in a day and the various emotions one feels there.
