This 15th anniversary album presents the full extent of Takashi Matsunaga’s piano world, both performance and creation, which has captivated many audiences. At the age of 13, Takashi Matsunaga was discovered by master pianist Hank Jones, and at the age of 17 he made his major debut with the album “TAKASHI,” and in the same year performed with Herbie Hancock at Tokyo Jazz 2003. Since then, he has been active at the forefront as a performer and composer, winning the “Idemitsu Music Award,” composing and performing the theme song “Open Mind” for TV Asahi’s “News Station,” and collaborating with a variety of musical and cultural genres, as well as working on numerous TV programs and commercials. This work is a monumental work that fully demonstrates Matsunaga’s career, which marks the 15th anniversary of his debut this year, and his pianism, which has gained tremendous support from various fields including classical music, POPS, video games, and animation. This is his long-awaited new work after a five-year absence, which contains all of his compositions, arrangements, and performances.
