This is the fourth Blue Note album by Robert Glasper, a pianist who has created a stir in the music scene by freely embodying jazz and hip-hop. This is his first album under the name “Robert Glasper Experiment,” which has a hip-hop side! Glasper, who has deep ties to the Hip-Hop/R&B world as musical director for Bilal and Mos Def, and tour support for Q-Tip, Kanye West, Erykah Badu, Jay-Z, Common, Maxwell, and others, has invited a great lineup of Hip-Hop/R&B guests who have been in touch with him. Glasper has deep ties to the hip-hop/R&B world, having toured and supported artists such as Erik Baaswell!
