12 titles from Rage’s back catalog are being reissued! Nine early album titles, including the only album by his former band Avenger, Players of Steel (1985), and three titles from his trio days with Victor Smolski have been remastered for the latest in 2019, with bonus discs and bonus Re-released with bonus discs and bonus tracks, depending on the work! This is Rage’s fourth album as a trio with new members Manni Schmidt (guitar) and Chris Efthymiadis (drums) after all but Peavy left the band. The sharp performances and melodic vocal lines, including “Don’t Fear the Winter,” are appealing. (Original release: 1988)
