Paul Jeremiah’s second album, which is famous as a singer/songwriter album, is now available on CD in paper jacket! (Original release: 1971/Sire Records)This is the second album by the blues folkie from Rhode Island, who is also known for his Adelphi release in 1973, his third album in total. Although some band-style folk-rock numbers are unusual for him, his specialty is ragtime/goodtime-flavored original songs with skillful finger-picking guitars. Among them, “Elegant Hobo,” which was featured by Rosalie Sorrells, is one of his best-known hobo songs.
