Opera Callas Diva are the new three-way floorstanding loudspeaker replacing the previous model of the same name. The performance of the new Callas Diva is at the level of the Grand Callas model but with a significant reduction in volume for use in smaller room. The flexible design adapts easily to various environments providing a natural and dynamic audio performance. The Callas Diva produces a sound stage that expands in three dimensions with an excellent impulse response and power, dynamics and extension at low frequencies identifying as the best in its class.
Driver
The Callas Diva feature an 8 inch long throw woofer for the reflex loaded low range, whilst the mid-range is controlled with a 7 inch annealed polypropylene midrange driver. Highs are enjoyed through the 1 inch Scanspeaker 9700 tweeter. The diffuser is complemented by the back radiation system that uses two Tweeters configured as a natural dipole. The back radiation feeds the reflected field without interfering with the direct sound.
Cabinet
The Callas Diva is a speaker of a smaller size, made from MDF and veneered curve plywood, the thickness ranges from 25mm (sides) to 50mm of the front panel and inside the cabinet is braced to connect the four vertical walls. The pyramidal profile of the Callas Diva, provides fantastic resonance absorption resulting in ultimate clarity.
