Originally released in late 1963, My Point Of View was the second studio album that legendary jazz pianist Herbie Hancock released for the famous Blue Note label. It also included an all-star band ensemble backing him, among them Donald Byrd on trumpet, and Hank Mobley on tenor sax. The label’s Tone Poet Audiophile reissue series makes this masterpiece available once again, remastered from the original tapes and pressed on heavyweight vinyl.
