Originally released on the jazz-oriented Impulse label in 1965, this long-awaited CD release features a number of classic tunes, starting with M-1, a fun party tune with a band. The “Record Guide” published by Rolling Stone magazine once gave this album a five-star rating among many other great records. This is a must-have album that conveys his appeal as both a blues singer and guitarist. (Two bonus tracks are also added, including a single song released the following year.)
