Cover Notes: Voice of the Beehive’s second album. 1991’s ‘Honey Lingers’, saw the UK/US pop-rock band build further on their signature mix of jangly guitars, upbeat rhythms, and melodic pop hooks, edging closer to a glossier, more mainstream sound. Working with producers such as Don Was, Hugh Jones and Alan Tarney, its 3 singles all broke the UK Top 40, with lead single ‘Monsters and Angels’ gaining significant airplay on US College Radio, reaching #8 on the US Modern Rock chart. London Records are re-issuing this alternative-pop classic, remastered and pressed on limited edition hot-pink vinyl.
