This is the fourth album by the Austrian six-piece symphonic power metal band “Dragony”. The band has already released the single “God’s of War,” a work that builds a vivid worldview with melodic, heavy chorus work and a variety of slow and fast songs. A melodic speed metal number, it is one of the highlights of the album. The album is a concept album inspired by Emperor Franz Joseph I, the father of their native Austria, and the album title “Viribus Unitis” is a reference to his motto “Unity” and to the battleships built during his reign. The album title “Viribus Unitis” is also the name of a battleship built during his reign.
