Merel Bekthold is a 23-year-old female guitarist from Brarikum, east of Amsterdam. She joined DELAIN in 2015, after having honed her skills in bands such as EPICA’s Mark Jansen’s MAYAN and Anneke’s band, and has been a member of DREAM THEATER and SUICIDE SILENCE.
