This spring, CIX completes its first album for FIX (fans) in Japan, and while it is still fresh in our minds that the single “All For You” released in 2021 was positioned as a “promise for the future” between CIX and its fans, the new album “Pinky Swear” (=Finger Cutting Genman) further solidifies that promise. With this new album, “Pinky Swear” (=Finger Cutting Genman), the band has further solidified its promise. Starting with the title track “Pinky Swear,” which has an impressive soulful melody, the band spins a total of 10 songs with a variety of approaches, sometimes mellowing the listener’s worldview and sometimes rapping with toughness. It is a work of confidence without price, incorporating all the essence of CIX’s music. CIX will be running through the music scene in 2022 with this first album to give shape to its future. (C)RS
