With one hundred watts per channel in Class AB Ultra-linear mode, and Fifty-Five watts per channel in Triode mode, this all new push pull amplifier design will offer the discerning customer unrivalled levels of drive and control, whilst embodying that quite glorious and organic nature of Cayin’s best vacuum tube designs.
This all new tube Integrated utilises the world class RCA 22DE4 tube rectifier for the power supply, and hand matched Tung-Sol 6SN7 for the critical voltage amplification stages and driver stage and hand selected and matched KT150 Output tubes – the result is musically spectacular.
Equipped with two pairs of RCA line inputs, and one pair of RCA Pre-In, Cayin have also added one pair of XLR inputs (Fully Balanced) on the rear panel of the amplifier.
Different from other inputs the Pre-In offers the possibility to use a high end Preamplifier so that you can use the CS-150A as a standalone high-end power amplifier.
Speaker terminals for 4 and 8 ohm speakers are located on the rear panel of the Amplifier allowing perfect connection to your loudspeaker of choice.
Beautifully simple user bias controls have been implemented for the CS-150A with a highly calibrated meter added to the top plate to allow you to monitor and adjust bias with ease.
Cayin have also integrated a Negative Feedback switch, and this is conveniently located on the front plate allowing you to choose between two levels of NFB and enjoy the different sound outputs that the CS-150A tube amplifier has to offer.
An anodised aluminum front, and fully vented chassis with a quite gorgeous finish, an all hand-made construction with the finest point-to-point wiring – the reputation of our engineering standards goes before us.
A highly sophisticated soft-start circuit has been configured on the CS-150A to protect the amplifier and allow for the maximum/extended life of the high specification discrete components.
Premium Parts are used throughout the entire design : Alps volume control, Audio grade capacitors and carbon film resistor, Toroidal transformer for power supply, Wide bandwidth EI output transformer, Ceramic tube sockets, etc.
It also comes standard with an full aluminium remote volume control, and in fact the CS-150A can also memorise the last operation settings of the unit once switched off.
Available front finish options : Brushed Aluminium Silver and Brushed Aluminium Black.
