A high-energy session with percussion, drums, wood bass, and rhythm section only! No editing or dubbing, no background music, just a raw and heavy sound! The one and only percussionist “Kosuke Tsuji” celebrates his 15th anniversary as a solo artist and CD debut. This is the first new album in 10 years from “Bottom Rhythm Jam,” a project in which he leads sessions using only wood bass and percussion instruments. Continuing from the previous album, the group features drummer Yukihiro Shimizu from the inactive indigo jam unit, percussionist Isao Wasano, and jazz bassist Tomokazu Sugimoto, who is currently active with the Terumasa Hino Quintet and other groups. The improvised performances by these four unique and talented musicians are packaged without any modification or editing. Enjoy the tense dialogue between the four musicians, the powerful bass sounds of the djembe and wood bass, and their energetic performance.
