Artur Ansel is a young French pianist. He has performed in concert halls all over the world, but it is perhaps the success of his piano duets with Lyudmila Berlinskaya that has established his reputation in Russia. Ansel is also known as a virtuoso of contemporary music and has a rich repertoire, but on this album he has selected three Haydn sonatas composed in the late 1760s, and in these sonatas from the middle period, which also show the influence of C.P.E.
