Ansuz cables are not like all other cables – they are uncompromising and based on advanced material research and technological solutions. The name derives from the run “Ansuz”, which in Norse mythology is associated with wisdom, clarity and truth – characteristics reflected in the incredible ability of the cables to convey the music as the artist originally intended.

The Philosophy of Ansuz

All materials used in one’s hifi system affect sound and dynamics. This also applies to audio cables, which are often exposed to both electromagnetic and mechanical disturbances that limit their performance. At Ansuz, they work from a philosophy of reducing these negative effects as much as possible or completely eliminating them. Through extensive development work and countless trials, they have found new and ground breaking ways to minimize noise and unwanted resonances.

Farewell to aluminium

The biggest news in the 3rd generation of the Ansuz cables is the opt-out of aluminium – a light and cost-effective material, but also a material that unfortunately adds an “artificial” and crisp sound. Aluminium also amplifies unwanted micro-vibrations, which can merge with the sound signal, thereby creating noise and blur. Instead of trying to suppress these vibrations afterwards, Ansuz has simply chosen to remove the source.

New material selection: Stainless steel, copper and titanium

In the 3rd generation, all aluminium components are replaced by:

Stainless steel in our X3 and P3 series (entry-level)

Copper in the A3, C3 and D3 series (mid-tier)

Titanium in D-TC3, D-TC Supreme and D-TC Gold Signature series (top-of-the-line)

The new materials are carefully selected to ensure better attenuation of micro-vibrations and thus a cleaner, more musical reproduction at all levels. By removing the cause rather than only symptom-treat, Ansuz has created a whole new standard for sound quality for the 3rd generation. Each cable is a result of extensive experience, innovation and courage to challenge industry conventions.
