This album, produced in a new environment using hardware as well as his real name, shifts from the theme of the previous album, “Transformation,” to “Transmission.” Inspired by a galaxy far, far away that he had been researching, Surgeon shows a new frontier using modular synthesizers. The pure electronic sounds that crackle violently and the heavy bass that forms the basis of the rhythm slowly distort the space, inducing another dimension.
