(Original release: 1978/Chrysalis Records)This is the first album released by the six-member group from LA, produced by Theo Macero, known for his work with Miles Davis. The groovy rhythm section and outstanding ensemble of wind instruments, electric piano, and vibraphone create a stylish fusion sound that incorporates a variety of styles including jazz, funk, and Latin. Flutist Steve Kujala has since performed with Chick Corea, and has guest credits on numerous albums by Manhattan Transfer, Lee Ritner, and others.
