Colloboh is the solo project of Collins Oboh, a young Baltimore-based experimental producer from Nigeria whose background is still a mystery. Collins Oboh is a promising new talent who weaves colorful electronic music using modular synthesizers. This is his debut 5-track EP “Entity Relation” released on Matthewdavid’s Leaving Records, which continues to produce cutting-edge artists, with the addition of his debut track “Zero Day” and two previously unreleased tracks “Let Love” as bonuses. The rhythmically and dreamy electronic music is drawn in with a perfect balance of thick and light beats and layers of wamono that fuse shimmering and floating sensations. The album is a diverse and versatile approach, and its perfection is so distinct that it is hard to believe that it is only a short time after its debut. The seven songs, which unfold in a flowing manner, never tire of being listened to, and seem to cross over between floor and listening. There is no doubt that this album will be supported by a wide range of people here in Japan.The bonus tracks are “Let Love” by Matthewdavid and “Zero Day” by Daddy Kev, and were designed by Justin Fines, who was also the design director for Burger King’s rebranding.
