Five years after his appointment as Principal Conductor of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, he has released a series of live recordings since the sensational “Rome Trilogy” released in 2014, and since 2018 he has released a new session series [BEYOND THE STANDARD] with five titles, which was completed last year Battistoni. This is the first compilation of live recordings in nearly four years, focusing on 20th century composers, and includes three pieces that he particularly recommends. The Japan premiere of Piazzolla, who celebrated the 100th anniversary of his birth, is a very valuable source.
