Jiro Yoshida is a jazz guitarist living in New York City who has been receiving offers from big names all over the world. After two albums with his trio THREESOME (with Marlene and Kurya Makoto), his second solo album for Sony is finally completed! This is his 13th solo album after a four-year hiatus. The participating members include Marlon Sanders (vo), who is the musical director of Stevie Wonder, Carl Carter (b), who has been a member of Steps Ahead, Verna Gillig (p), who has won Grammy awards in both the classical and jazz categories, and from Japan The only member of the group is Chisato Kawaguchi (ds), an active university student who is now expanding her activities worldwide. The band is based on jazz, but incorporates pop elements and has a radio oriented element with vocals. (C)RS
