Enhance the dialogue of your favorite movies and TV shows with the black
ELAC Uni-Fi 2.0 UC52 3-Way Center Channel Speaker. When paired with your amplifier or receiver, it will output mainly the dialogue of your content, while the rest of your speakers create the majority of the ambient sound effects. Its recommended amplifier power is 40 to 140W and features a 48 Hz to 35 kHz frequency response for crisp highs. The speaker consists of a 1″ soft-dome tweeter concentrically mounted with a 4″ aluminum cone midrange driver, and two 5.25″ aluminum cone woofers, plus two front-facing bass ports for enhanced low-frequency reproduction.
3-Way Speaker Design
With separate tweeter, midrange, and bass drivers, the Uni-Fi 2.0 UC52 is designed to deliver clean bass without distorting vocals.
Concentric Driver
A wide-surround tweeter helps enhance its low- and high-frequency extension, allowing for enhanced blending with the midrange driver. The midrange driver features a large-diameter voice coil, aluminum cone profile, low-profile surround, and neodymium magnet assembly.
Single-Piece Woofer
The single-piece aluminum dished cone is used for its advanced stiffness. Combined with an oversized magnet, large diameter voice coil, and extended pole piece, the woofer is engineered for enhanced accuracy and bass dynamics.
3-Way Crossover
The crossover features a design with enhanced linearity and driver integration to provide a true 6-ohm nominal impedance for compatibility with virtually all A/V receivers.
Braced Design
The Uni-Fi 2.0 uses thick CARB2-rated MDF outer walls with specially located internal bracing to add stiffness and strength to the outer walls, reducing cabinet vibration that causes unwanted coloration.
Front-Firing Vents
Placing the flared vents on the front of the speaker allows for greater freedom of placement, even in restricted places like a cabinet or near a wall.
