Pop Will Eat Itself formed in the Midlands during the mid-1980s and remain defiantly out of step with convention. Their eighth album, Delete Everything, is a riotous collision of industrial rock, loop-heavy techno, gonzoid hip hop and punk—refined, redefined and torn apart all at once.

Still looking and sounding like they’ve wandered out of the pages of 2000 AD, front duo Graham Crabb and Mary Byker trade vocals with manic energy over restless, infectious beats. Bassist Davey Bennett underpins the chaos, Cliff Hewitt powers the rhythms, and Adam Mole adds guitar bite—occasionally swinging his keyboard like a weapon.

Wild, wired, and still wildly inventive, Pop Will Eat Itself have wiped the slate clean and rebooted their system with trademark style and a world of their own making.
